Rob Lamke is the Chief Operating Officer at the Museum Of Science and Industry (MOSI) in Tampa, Florida. In his current role Lamke leads the Marketing, Operations, Public Relations, Philanthropy, Communications and Exhibit Development teams.
 
Rob joined MOSI in 2017 after spending 8 years at The Florida Aquarium in various roles that centered on the Guest Experience as well as project management. He was Project Manager for the Aquarium’s $16M renovation and expansion as well as developing the venue’s award winning and industry leading Day of Discovery where special needs families had access to the venue during off hours.
 
While at MOSI Rob has completed a complete restructure and renovation of the building, staff and exhibits with a focus on S.T.E.A.M. engagement. A major part of this change was on the exhibit path itself. Since reopening in 2017 MOSI has created 10 permanent exhibits, updated over 21 exhibits and hosted 2 traveling exhibits and created 2 major Summer Exhibits. All having the focus of multiple age engagement within one experience.

Rob is a six-sigma green belt and a Civilian Commander at MacDill AFB. He also holds a role on Mayor Jane Castor’s Advisory Board on Disabilities. Rob is a member of the USA National Triathlon Team and a 5 time Ironman finisher. He and his wife Kim have 4 Children ages 19 (Loyola University – Chicago), 18 (University of Nebraska – Lincoln), 16 (Sunlake High School) and 9 (Lutz Prep).
