Greater Pasco Membership Lunch
Enjoy lunch while networking with other Greater Pasco Chamber Members and listening to updates on the SPEROS Expansion Project - the new Moffit Cancer Center medical city being built in Pasco County from this month's guest speaker.
John has served in various financial roles over the last 15 years at the Moffitt Cancer Center including Senior Director, Finance. In that role, he was responsible for all aspects of the corporate financial operations of the organization. He managed the day-to-day operations of the Accounting, Accounts Payable, Treasury, Financial Reporting, Payroll, Tax, Purchasing, Receiving and Research Finance departments. He also held the role of the Director, Construction and Real Estate Finance where he supported the organization’s significant growth plans which include a new 400,000 square foot expansion hospital scheduled to open in July 2023 and expanded satellite location strategy. John has more than 20 years of health care finance experience. In addition to his time at the Moffitt Cancer Center, he spent six years with Ernst & Young, LLC in the audit practice focused on for-profit and not-forprofit health care entities. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Dayton and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Louisville. He is a Certified Public Accountant (Florida, Kentucky) and a Healthcare Financial Management Association Certified Healthcare Finance Professional. John serves on the Board of Directors, as well as the Finance and Audit Committees, for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay and is a graduate of the Leadership Pasco Class of 2022. He has served as a member and the Chairman of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church Finance Council and was the Co-Founder and served as Vice President and President of the St. Lawrence Youth Athletic Program. |
