QPD Quarter 2 - Compassion Fatigue & Self Care - Avoiding Burnout

Compassion fatigue (Burnout) is a state of physical, emotional, and mental exhaustion. Some individuals experience nightmares, feeling burdened, and spiritual depletion, characterized by helplessness and hopelessness. In addition, psychological burnout can cause poor work performance. This presentation will discuss how to take care of personal wellness to be an effective employee or supervisor. Additionally, how to avoid compassion fatigue, stress, and burnout. Furthermore, learn how to deal with unfinished psychological issues by attending counseling (EAP) and find ways to work on staying healthy.
