The Sound of Music

Richey Suncoast Theatre proudly presents the Broadway classic The Sound of Music.  This musical set in Austria on the eve of World War II follows Maria, a young woman who becomes the governess of the Von Trapp family. Maria brings joy and music into their strict household, forming a special bond with the seven Von Trapp children. As Maria and Captain Von Trapp find themselves drawn to each other, their personal conflicts become overshadowed by world events.
