Program Coordinator FAAST program

The Program Coordinator will be responsible for:

1. Device Demonstrations
2. Short-Term Device Loans
3. Referrals to State Financing Program
4. Assistive Technology Training
5. Public Awareness

FAAST West Central Regional Demonstration Center will be located at Hope Service's training center in Land O Lakes, FL and cover the following counties: Pasco, Hernando, Citrus, Sumter and Lake. Travel to all of the counties is required and a minimum of one office day at the training center.

Job tasks and qualifications:

• Develop effective marketing plans to reach those who could benefit from AT
• Communicate with clients to understand their goals and ambitions
• Assist clients to discover and overcome their personal barriers through ATs
• Conduct training and device demonstrations for clients
• Assist clients with device loans
• Refer clients to funding options
• Monitor and evaluate progress of clients
• Keep records and documentation and prepare appropriate reports

Requirements and skills: Experience working with people with disabilities is a plus Experience in developing marketing plans

• BS/BA or MA/MS in Human Services, Social Work, Counseling or relevant field and one year working with persons with disabilities is preferred.
• Minimum High school diploma with experience in a public vocational rehabilitation program or other related experience working with persons with disabilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
