About Us

Rooted in Pasco County and connected globally, Habitat for Humanity of East and Central Pasco County brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Since 1994, we have partnered with local families, volunteers, and community organizations to create safe, decent, and affordable housing opportunities that strengthen the fabric of our community.

Headquartered in Dade City, Florida, our affiliate serves all of Pasco County east of the Suncoast Parkway, part of the North Tampa Bay region. We are dedicated to empowering families through affordable homeownership, financial education, and long-term stability.

Our work extends beyond construction. Through disaster recovery, community partnerships, and volunteer engagement, we foster economic mobility and create pathways to affordable homeownership alongside hardworking families.

At Habitat for Humanity of East and Central Pasco County, we believe that everyone deserves a safe place to call home. Together with our partners, donors, and volunteers, we continue building a stronger, more resilient Pasco County.

Our mission calls us to welcome & make space for all people, across all differences, to come together in common cause to build homes, communities and hope. We do so even in difficult circumstances, dating back to our historic roots at Koinonia Farm, a small, interracial, Christian community in the segregated South of the United States. Welcoming and meeting the needs of people who have been systematically excluded from housing opportunities is central to our vision that everyone deserves a decent place to live.
